Ann Chow (The National Archives, Birkbeck, University of London)

Ann Chow is an archivist who works with the art related collections at The National Archives, Kew. As part of her role, she has organised events related around Barbara Hepworth (particularly in relation to archival records) and written blogs about Hepworth and Julia Margaret Cameron.  She is currently looking into the coverage of women artists and designers in a selection of Festival of Britain records including Mary Fedden, Prunella Clough and Sheila Robinson. She is also exploring the photographic representations of women artists at work.  She is a committee member of Archives Record Association Sound, Film and Photographs Group and member of the Art Libraries Society. She is currently undertaking an MA in the History of Art with Photography.
